Aimed at the high-quality photo print, fine art, poster and indoor signage markets, the Epson SC-P20500 offers several advances from its predecessor. The P20500 uses 1.6 litre ink pouches against the much lower ink capacity of its predecessors.

The new 64-inch SC-P20500 boasts several upgrades, including a 12-colour ink set featuring orange, green, and violet, as well as a switchable black-enhanced overcoat mode that delivers enhanced contrast, improved tonality, and reduced bronzing on glossy media.

Productivity & Usability

The SC-P20500 production printer is a game-changer with its impressive print speeds and 1.6-litre ink bags, reducing the need for frequent user interventions. Compared to its predecessor, the SC-P20000, this printer requires only half the number of ink changes, saving time and resources.

Additionally, the self-encrypting SSD (960GB) allows for convenient storage and direct reprinting from the printer's touchscreen, eliminating the necessity for a PC.

The SC-P20500 is straightforward to use, with features such as spindle-less loading and intuitive operation via a 4.3-inch touchscreen. It is designed for easy self-maintenance.

Featuring a 4.3-inch LCD touchscreen for intuitive operation. Even loading heavy roll media is a simple task, thanks to the roll adapter.

UltraChrome Pro12 ink set, the same inks used in the Epson SC-P9500/7500 printers, giving you the consistency of colour if you were to replace or add to your current Epson printers.

The previous dark grey ink has been replaced with orange, green, and violet inks, creating a 12-color printer with a far wider colour gamut, with deeper blacks. Although adding more colours, there is virtually no loss of print speed.

Set Up

The SC-P20500 is easy to set up and configure and supports advanced Epson software for high production customers, eliminating the need to purchase separate additional software.

Epson Edge Print PRO comes standard, while Epson Media Installer can be downloaded and used to set up simple media settings.

Support for Epson Cloud Solution PORT Support is also available for printer monitoring. The Adobe Embedded Print Engine is integrated into the optional available Adobe PS module to enhance PDF output and facilitate faster RIP processing.

Reliability

Nozzle Verification Technology (NVT) not only provides reliable reproduction by adjusting the nozzle condition, but it also automatically detects and adjusts to avoid nozzle clogging.

In addition, the printer includes other features that help with self maintenance such as an easy-to-open cover, an interior light close to the printhead, easy access to the anti-drying cap, and a dust cover which helps protect the printhead and media.

All printers include a two-year standard warranty, with extended warranty options available.
