Our pine standard cross braces are to give extra support to larger canvas frames. They are designed to be used across the shortest dimension of a frame only. For instance, with a 30" x 40" frame you would need one 30" cross brace. NOTE: Only stretcher bars 30" and above have the slot needed for a cross brace.
